DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) – A motorcyclist died following a crash on South Boston Road at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, April 13.
According to Danville Police, the motorcyclist, identified as Nicolas Paul Samuels, 40, of Keeling, was traveling westbound on a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide when a 2022 Nissan Kicks, driven by 25-year-old Daniel Rashunn Dickerson of Danville, crossed into its path.
Samuels was transported from the scene but later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the accident. Dickerson was also taken to a medical facility for attention.
Emergency response included assistance from Danville Public Works and the Danville Fire Department.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and no further details have been released at this time.
