GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A motorcyclist died in a crash on Jones Mill Road near Sims Circle on July 6 at approximately 8:55 p.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported that the motorcycle was traveling south when it left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. No additional information regarding lane closures or emergency response was provided.
