A motorcyclist in his late 30s was killed in a collision with a car at an intersection in San Antonio Friday evening.
The crash occurred around 6:39 p.m. at the intersection of Hoefgen Avenue and Florida Street. According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Hoefgen while a woman driving westbound on Florida entered the intersection, resulting in the collision.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 7 p.m., police said. Emergency responders included the San Antonio Police Department, who are investigating the incident.
Authorities reported that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances and fault in the crash. No additional injuries were reported.
