Pleasanton Motorcyclist Injured in I-580 Collision
PLEASANTON, CA – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after a crash with a car on eastbound I-580 Thursday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. near the Santa Rita Road off-ramp. According to CHP logs, a sports bike and a blue SUV were involved, with the motorcycle ending up in the center divider.
Emergency response teams, including firefighters, arrived at the scene and blocked at least two left lanes of the freeway. The rider was treated for minor injuries on-site.
Details regarding the cause of the collision remain undisclosed. The CHP is currently investigating the incident.
