KAYSVILLE, Utah, May 11, 2026 — A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a collision on the West Davis Highway Sunday evening.
Emergency crews were dispatched at 5:27 p.m. to southbound State Route 177 near mile marker 5, according to the Kaysville Fire Department. The incident involved a single motorcycle rider, who was treated at the scene by fire paramedics.
The rider was subsequently transported by a University of Utah AirMed helicopter to an area trauma center for further treatment. No additional details about the rider were available.
Kaysville Fire Department acknowledged the assistance of the Farmington Fire Department at the scene and expressed their thoughts for the patient and their family.
The Utah Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
