KAYSVILLE — A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a crash on the West Davis Corridor on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when the 34-year-old rider, traveling south, went off the roadway after something entered his eye, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Luis Silva.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was airlifted to the hospital by a University of Utah AirMed helicopter. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, but no further details on lane closures or additional injuries were available. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
