A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a collision with a flatbed trailer after running a red light on San Antonio’s Northeast Side Saturday night.
Authorities reported the incident occurred around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Rigsby Avenue and the Northeast Loop 410 Northbound access road. A 49-year-old man was operating the motorcycle when he allegedly drove through a red light and struck the trailer.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. The trailer driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No additional injuries were reported. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
