HESPERIA, Calif. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a collision on the northbound I-15 Freeway near Main Street on March 20, 2026.
The crash, which involved a gray Nissan Altima and a black motorcycle, was reported at approximately 12:07 p.m. Witnesses reported significant rear-end damage to the Altima, while the motorcycle’s front tire was completely detached.
Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital with complaints of chest pain. The driver of the Nissan did not sustain injuries.
Due to the accident, the No. 1 lane was blocked, causing traffic delays that extended into the Cajon Pass, reaching as far back as Oak Hill Road. By 1:00 p.m., the motorcycle was towed, and the Nissan was moved to the right shoulder, allowing the California Highway Patrol to reopen all lanes.
The California Highway Patrol’s Victorville station is investigating the incident.
