FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a deer on Friday morning.
The crash occurred at 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Rolling Hills Parkway, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD).
Emergency responders arrived to find the motorcyclist down, and they were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities temporarily closed West Jefferson Boulevard at Liberty Mills Road to facilitate the investigation, but the roadway has since reopened.
