A motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle in Virginia Beach on Saturday morning.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A 53-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Kerry Lawing, died after a crash on Diamond Springs Road at 11:38 a.m., according to police.
Emergency responders arrived to find Lawing suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities said Lawing was traveling south when a vehicle turned in front of him, resulting in the collision. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
