SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist has died following a hit-and-run crash on Southwest Loop 410 on Wednesday night, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident occurred before 9 p.m. in the 1700 block of Southwest Loop 410, near Marbach Road. Authorities report that a 24-year-old man was traveling northbound when he was rear-ended by a Dodge Charger occupied by two individuals.
The motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead on Monday, Aug. 10, according to an SAPD spokesperson.
Following the crash, the driver of the Dodge Charger fled the scene. Authorities noted that if located, the driver could face charges for failure to stop and render aid. An investigation is ongoing.
