Rock Hill, S.C. – A motorcyclist died Saturday evening following a collision with a car, marking the third motorcycle fatality in York County in just over a month.
Jayden Ford, 27, was involved in a crash around 7:45 p.m. on Albright Road near Midvale Avenue, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. Ford was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when it collided with a Toyota Camry sedan.
The Rock Hill Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident, with assistance from the department’s traffic reconstruction team, as confirmed by Lt. Michael Chavis. No further details regarding the crash have been released.
This incident follows two previous motorcycle fatalities in York County this year: one on June 21 on Garvin Road, and another involving an 18-year-old on May 19 on Dave Lyle Boulevard.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Saturday’s crash.
