NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A 49-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday morning in a collision on Rt. 30 near Malts Lane.
According to North Huntingdon Police Dispatch, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 11:30 a.m. A westbound sedan turned into a business, colliding head-on with the eastbound motorcycle.
The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office responded to the incident. Authorities identified the motorcyclist as Charles McCutcheon of Jeannette. The coroner’s report stated that the cause and manner of death are pending.
The North Huntingdon Township Police Department is leading the investigation. Roadway access was reopened around 3:30 p.m. following the crash.
