One person died in a motorcycle crash on State Highway 88 in Polk County, Arkansas, on Saturday afternoon.
Jose Ramon Nevarez, 48, of Wylie, Texas, was riding a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound when he veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail at approximately 4:06 p.m., according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
Emergency responders pronounced Nevarez dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and authorities reported no additional injuries.
The Arkansas State Police are investigating the crash. Further details regarding lane closures or road conditions were not available.
