LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Interstate 80 eastbound near Exit 397 on Saturday afternoon, resulting in one death.
Lincoln Police Department received the call at 4:02 p.m. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle after leaving the roadway and was transported to a local hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities are in the process of contacting the family of the deceased. The Lincoln Police Department is investigating the incident and has not disclosed the cause of the crash.
