HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision on Kamehameha Highway near Hawaii Pacific University on Tuesday morning.
According to Honolulu EMS, the 39-year-old woman, who was wearing a helmet, was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
Paramedics treated her at the scene before transporting her to an area hospital in serious condition.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the collision, and an investigation is ongoing.
No additional details regarding the other vehicle or the driver involved in the incident have been released.
As of now, lane closures are in effect on Kamehameha Highway while the investigation takes place.
