LEXINGTON, Ky. (LOCAL NEWS WIRE) — A motorcycle rider sustained life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Old Richmond Road near the Madison County line early Friday morning.
Authorities said the incident occurred at approximately 2:42 a.m. when the motorcycle struck a guardrail. The rider was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The Lexington Police Department responded to the scene, and the collision reconstruction unit is currently conducting an investigation. The roadway has since been cleared.
