KA’AAWA, Hawaii (Local News Wire) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on Kamehameha Hwy at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Sunday.
According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the 40-year-old male rider suffered significant leg and foot injuries and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. EMS transported him to a local emergency room in serious condition.
The incident occurred near the Crouching Lion Restaurant, prompting temporary lane closures in both directions on Kamehameha Highway. The road has since reopened.
