GREENFIELD, Wis. — A serious motorcycle accident occurred Monday afternoon at South 116th Street and West Layton Avenue, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
According to Greenfield Police, a 62-year-old woman driving an SUV was making a left turn from West Layton Avenue onto South 116th Street when she collided with a motorcycle operated by a 23-year-old man from New Berlin, who was heading eastbound on West Layton Avenue.
Authorities indicated that speed may have played a role in the incident.
The motorcyclist was transported to Froedtert Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders, including local police, were on the scene to assist.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, led by the Greenfield Police Department.
