Motorcyclist Killed in MTA Bus Collision in Bronx, June 1
BRONX, NEW YORK (June 1, 2026) – A 32-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with an MTA bus at West Mosholu Parkway South and Jerome Avenue on Wednesday evening.
According to the New York City Police Department, the motorcyclist was struck by the bus while navigating the intersection. The impact caused the rider to be thrown to the ground, resulting in critical injuries. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
