Mustang Community Mourns High School Senior Killed in Motorcycle Crash Just Days After Welcoming First Child.

MUSTANG, Okla. – Authorities reported that an 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash early Thursday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

Emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 2:30 a.m. to the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and Sarah Road. Police stated that the motorcyclist collided with a pole while traveling at a high rate of speed.

The rider, later identified as Evan Price, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to authorities.

Mustang Public Schools confirmed that Price was a senior at Mustang High School, but did not disclose specific circumstances of the incident to respect the family’s privacy.

Witnesses noted that Price had become a father just nine days prior to the accident. The district announced that counselors would be available for students and staff when classes resume on January 7, 2026.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, but no further information has been released regarding the cause of the crash.
