OGDEN — A motorcycle crash on Washington Boulevard resulted in one fatality Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at 12:30 p.m. at 3355 Washington Blvd. According to police, Robert Bow, 68, was riding his motorcycle when a Ford Escape exited a parking lot, turning left in front of him. Bow collided with the front end of the vehicle.
Witnesses and Ogden Fire crews performed lifesaving measures but Bow succumbed to his injuries at the scene, authorities confirmed.
The Ogden Police Department expressed gratitude to community members who intervened and provided assistance during the incident.
Authorities reminded drivers to exercise caution on the roads as summer approaches. “Please slow down, stay alert, keep a proper lookout for motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and other vehicles, and make safe driving a priority every time you get behind the wheel,” police stated.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with no additional details regarding lane closures or tows provided at this time.
