PLAINFIELD — A 39-year-old man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash on Friday night, according to the Plainfield Police Department.
Authorities received reports of the incident around 9:40 p.m. near Plainfield Pike and New Road. Upon arrival, officers located a 2016 Harley-Davidson FLHX off the roadway with significant damage.
The operator, a Plainfield resident, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Plainfield Backus Hospital before being airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital via Life Star.
Plainfield police, including an accident reconstructionist and the Special Investigations Unit, responded to the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
