SARATOGA SPRINGS — A motorcycle crash at the intersection of Redwood Road and Centennial Boulevard on Thursday afternoon left a 20-year-old man critically injured and prompted lane closures.
The collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. involving a car and motorcycle, according to Saratoga Springs Police spokesperson AnnElise Harrison. The motorcyclist was airlifted to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.
Northbound traffic on Redwood Road experienced significant delays for several hours, with diversions through nearby neighborhoods and onto Mountain View Corridor, as reported by the Utah Department of Transportation.
While the driver of the car remained at the scene, authorities emphasized the need for a thorough investigation. The road has since reopened, but police are seeking witnesses to provide information.
