Motorcyclist Killed in South Memphis Accident on South 3RD Street at East Belz Boulevard
Memphis, Tennessee (August 16, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, authorities responded to a deadly motorcycle crash at an intersection in South Memphis.
The wreck happened Tuesday evening, August 15, on South Third Street at East Belz Boulevard.
A car and a motorcycle collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
The rider was declared dead at the crash site.
The car’s driver was detained.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The traffic was diverted to use alternative routes as officers cleared the wreckage.
