Shocking video reveals couple’s miraculous escape from Saratoga Springs motorcycle crash.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah — A motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon injured two people following a hit-and-run incident at an intersection.

At approximately 2:41 p.m., a truck struck a motorcycle from behind at the intersection of Pony Express Parkway and Mountain View Corridor, prompting emergency responses. The collision involved two vehicles: a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

According to authorities, the motorcycle was occupied by Amber and Kevin Sumsion. Amber sustained minor injuries, while Kevin reported being uninjured. The driver of the truck fled the scene immediately after the accident, according to witnesses, who described attempts to chase the vehicle.

Saratoga Springs Police are investigating the incident and gathering evidence, including dashcam footage provided by Kevin Sumsion. Lane closures were in effect for several hours as officials assessed the area.

Emergency medical services were dispatched to treat the injured parties on-site before they were released. There were no fatalities reported in this incident.

Officials continue to seek information from the public regarding the truck’s driver. No further details have been confirmed about the circumstances leading to the hit-and-run.
