SENECA, Wis. (WXOW) – A South Carolina man died following a motorcycle crash in Crawford County on Tuesday, September 9.
At approximately 2:19 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department responded to a collision on WIS-STH 27 at Stoney Point Road.
According to authorities, Charles Marshall, 66, was riding with two other motorcyclists when he struck the rear of another motorcycle while turning onto Stoney Point Road.
Witnesses reported that Marshall was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was ejected from his motorcycle and subsequently airlifted to a medical facility with life-threatening injuries.
Marshall died from his injuries the following day. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional injuries were reported.
