OSWEGO COUNTY, NY – A motorcycle crash at the intersection of County Route 57 and Bankrupt Road on October 9, 2026, resulted in the death of a 22-year-old male.
According to State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:34 a.m. The motorcycle, a 2024 model operated by Hunter J. Hennessey from Baldwinsville, was traveling southbound when it attempted to pass a tractor-trailer. At that moment, a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup truck, driven by 46-year-old Thomas B. Wallace, crossed County Route 57, leading to a collision between the two vehicles.
Witnesses reported that the motorcycle subsequently caught fire. Hennessey sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
