A single-vehicle motorcycle crash Monday morning in Sylacauga claimed the life of a 32-year-old man.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), James R. Jones was fatally injured when the 2019 Kawasaki Z650 motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck several trees at approximately 10:50 a.m.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred on Alabama 21 near the 214 mile marker within the Sylacauga city limits in Talladega County.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash. No additional information has been released at this time.
