Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures Several on Interstate 10 Near Mobile
MOBILE, AL – A multi-vehicle accident involving five cars injured multiple individuals on Interstate 10 westbound near Mobile on October 1, 2023, at approximately 3:15 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash resulted in two serious injuries and several others with minor injuries. First responders, including ALEA and Mobile Fire-Rescue, arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance.
Authorities reported that westbound lanes of I-10 near exit 20 were partially closed for several hours to facilitate cleanup and investigation. Tow trucks were deployed to remove the vehicles involved in the crash.
As of now, the cause of the accident is under investigation. Traffic in the area is expected to return to normal once all vehicles are cleared and the scene is fully assessed. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
