Tennessee Man Charged with Fleeing Police on Motorcycle in Logan County.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Tennessee man was arrested following a motorcycle pursuit in Logan County on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcycle was clocked at over 100 mph in a 65 mph zone while traveling westbound on U.S. 68 East at Mud River Road. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the operator failed to pull over.

Authorities reported the motorcyclist, identified as 20-year-old Dyllan Alford of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, entered the opposite lane before crashing while attempting to leap a curb. After the crash, Alford fled on foot but was apprehended by deputies in a nearby brush area after a brief chase.

A firearm was recovered approximately 10 to 15 feet from the accident site. Alford was taken to The Medical Center at Russellville for treatment of his injuries before being booked at the Logan County Jail.

He faces multiple charges, including speeding (26 mph or greater over the limit), failure to maintain insurance, reckless driving, second-degree fleeing or evading police (both in a vehicle and on foot), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, operating on a suspended license, no registration plates, and resisting arrest.
