Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 50-Year-Old Man in Thompson
THOMPSON, CT—A motorcycle accident on Route 12 at approximately 3:15 p.m. Saturday resulted in the death of 50-year-old Travis Ray Conner.
According to Connecticut State Police, Conner was riding a Harley-Davidson southbound when he veered into the northbound lane and was struck by a KIA Telluride driven by a 59-year-old woman from Thompson, who had a 19-year-old female passenger.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated all three individuals at Day Kimball Hospital, after which Conner was transferred to Hartford Hospital due to serious injuries. Authorities reported no apparent injuries to the driver or passenger of the KIA.
The accident remains under investigation, and no road closures were reported following the incident.
