Tiverton woman killed in motorcycle crash celebrated for her vibrant spirit and adventurous life.

Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Tiverton Woman

LITTLE COMPTON, RI — A motorcycle accident on Saturday, August 2, 2025, resulted in the death of Tammy A. Boutilier, 29, of Tiverton.

The Rhode Island State Police are investigating the crash, which occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Route 24 North. Authorities confirmed that Boutilier was the only vehicle involved in the incident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency responders from the Little Compton Volunteer Fire Department and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation attended the scene. Authorities reported that the roadway was partially closed for several hours as they conducted their investigation and cleared the area.

Boutilier, a graduate of Tiverton High School, was known for her passion for animals, working as a groomer and dog trainer. She was an avid motor enthusiast and had a strong connection with her German Shepherd, Phantom.

A celebration of Boutilier’s life is scheduled for Friday, August 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at St. John’s Athletic Club, located at 1365 Rodman St, Fall River, MA.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
