AUBURN, MA – A motorcycle crash on Route 90 eastbound resulted in a fatality shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
According to Massachusetts State Police, a 2018 Harley Davidson was traveling east near the 88.2 mile marker when it lost control and veered right, striking a guardrail. The operator, John Huff, 64, of Queens Village, NY, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that the left travel lane was closed during the investigation and cleanup. The crash is under investigation by Troop C of the Massachusetts State Police, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section. Troopers were assisted by Charlton Fire and EMS, MassDOT, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
