Local Man Killed in Christmas Eve Motorcycle Accident in Folsom
A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 22-year-old man in Folsom Borough on Christmas Eve. Logan Ingemi, a resident of Hammonton, died when his motorcycle collided with an Audi.
The crash occurred on northbound Route 73 as the 40-year-old Audi driver attempted to make a left turn into a northbound lane. Ingemi was thrown from his motorcycle, which subsequently struck a pickup truck following behind the Audi.
Fortunately, the Audi driver and those in the pickup truck sustained only minor injuries. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
In a related incident on the same day, a 22-year-old driver from Elizabeth also lost his life. Li Wei Lin crashed his Honda into a guardrail near an entrance ramp in Woodbridge Township on the Garden State Parkway.
According to New Jersey State Police, after the initial impact, the Honda moved into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Lexus SUV operated by a 57-year-old woman. The Lexus was then hit by a Ram pickup truck, whose driver suffered minor injuries. The Lexus driver was reported to be unharmed.
