Two fatalities reported in motorcycle crash with vehicle on Route 51 in Perryopolis, police confirm.

Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash in front of Randall’s Restaurant on Route 51 in Perryopolis on Thursday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police reported.

At approximately 1 p.m., 81-year-old Larry Hall of Belle Vernon was exiting the restaurant parking lot when 41-year-old Frank McKulka of Grindstone collided with his vehicle at a high rate of speed, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Both Hall and McKulka were pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in Hall’s vehicle was transported by helicopter to a hospital in critical condition. The identity of the passenger has not been released.

Route 51 was closed for the investigation but has since reopened, according to authorities. Motorcyclist fault has been indicated by troopers; however, additional details of the crash remain unpublished.

Emergency responders were on the scene, and a statement from the coroner reminded the public to keep the families of the deceased in their thoughts.
