Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 40 in West Knoxville early March 19.
The victims, Austin Eady, 31, of Mascot, and Krystal Mount, 40, of Powell, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. near the Walker Springs Road exit. Authorities reported that the motorcycle collided with the back of another vehicle while traveling westbound on I-40. No injuries were reported for the other vehicle’s occupants.
There are no criminal charges filed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
