Two people on a motorcycle were seriously injured in a crash on Route 6 in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon.
The collision, involving a 2019 Harley Davidson and a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq, occurred just before 2:15 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
Authorities said the 36-year-old motorcycle operator from Brooklyn struck the right rear of the Hyundai. He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts.
A 35-year-old woman from Webster, Massachusetts, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, was also transported to the same hospital with injuries considered life-threatening.
The driver of the Hyundai reported no injuries. The crash remains under investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
