Idaho Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash Near Malad City
MALAD CITY, ID—A motorcycle accident left a 50-year-old man from Corinne, Utah, injured Friday evening on Old Highway 191.
According to the Idaho State Police, the crash occurred at 6:08 p.m., south of Malad City near E 6700 S. The rider was operating a 2011 Harley Davidson FLS when he lost control and exited the roadway, crashing into a nearby field.
Emergency responders transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The Idaho State Police is currently investigating the incident.
This marks the second serious accident reported in the Malad City area in May. On May 2, a fatal crash involved a female ATV driver who collided with a tree.
Authorities continue to seek public assistance regarding a separate case involving the theft and malicious killing of a calf in Washington and Payette Counties. The incident occurred between April 21 and April 22. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Idaho State Brand Inspector’s office.
