GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two individuals died in a motorcycle crash on Easter Sunday at 10:51 a.m. on Jefferson Davis Highway.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 21-year-old Colton Sanders and 17-year-old Jasmine Ambs.
Authorities said Sanders was riding a 2026 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound when it collided with a 2020 Subaru that was turning into a church.
Both Sanders and Ambs, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, were pronounced dead at the scene at 11 a.m.
The driver of the Subaru was taken to the hospital for injuries; their condition is currently unknown.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office, South Carolina Highway Patrol, and South Carolina Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating the incident.
