GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two individuals died in a motorcycle crash on Easter Sunday at approximately 10:51 a.m.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 21-year-old Colton Sanders and 17-year-old Jasmine Ambs. The incident occurred on the 2000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
According to authorities, Sanders was riding a 2026 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound when it collided with a 2020 Subaru, which was reportedly turning into a church.
Both Sanders and Ambs were pronounced dead at the scene at 11 a.m. The driver of the Subaru was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, involving the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, South Carolina Highway Patrol, and the South Carolina Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
