MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN VICTORIA CRASH IDENTIFIED
VICTORIA, Texas — A motorcycle collision on East Mockingbird Lane resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man Thursday night.
According to the Victoria Police Department, officers responded to the crash involving a pickup truck and motorcycle around 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Mockingbird Lane. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound when the pickup truck, exiting a private drive of an apartment complex, collided with it.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital. The motorcyclist, identified as Calvin Douglas, later succumbed to his injuries. The condition of the pickup truck driver has not been disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact local law enforcement.
