A motorcycle crash on KY 384 near Ballard Road on Tuesday evening sent a Dublin man to the hospital.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. when 52-year-old Michael Niemeyer was operating his motorcycle.
Authorities reported that Niemeyer attempted to avoid an oncoming vehicle that was partially in his lane by veering onto the shoulder. However, he was unable to return to the roadway and subsequently crashed into a ditch and culvert.
Niemeyer was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. The roadway was not closed following the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
