WILLISTON, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 24-year-old man died Monday after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on County Road 6, north of Williston.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Brandon Burkemo’s Harley-Davidson struck the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 63-year-old Earl Ray around 2:41 p.m. Burkemo was wearing a helmet but was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. Ray was uninjured in the incident.
Authorities reported that the roadway was wet at the time of the collision. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
