ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a Honda SUV on Colonial Avenue on Friday, June 19, at 7:35 p.m.
According to Roanoke County Police, the SUV struck the motorcycle on the 3600 block of Colonial Avenue. The motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Bishop Keanu Jackson, was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the Honda, 64-year-old Barbara Ann Callahan, was arrested and charged with DUI and refusal. Authorities said additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
