DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) – A woman from Clarkton was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, July 21.
The incident occurred on MO 162 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the 53-year-old female passenger was ejected from the motorcycle while making a turn.
She was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, with serious injuries.
The motorcycle driver, a 42-year-old Clarkton woman, was not injured.
MSHP confirmed that neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
