Woodburn Man Dies in Tuesday Evening Motorcycle Accident

A 35-year-old Woodburn man died on May 5 when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Butteville and Lebrun roads.
According to Woodburn Police, officers responded to the two-vehicle crash at approximately 5:43 p.m. Initial investigations revealed that a Dodge pickup, driven by Caleb Doll, was traveling east on Lebrun Road and turning left onto Butteville Road when it struck the motorcycle driven by Cyrus Pino, who was heading south on Butteville Road.
Authorities confirmed that Pino was pronounced dead at the scene. Doll, the pickup’s driver, remained on-site and cooperated with the investigation; no injuries were reported. Preliminary information does not suggest any criminal activity related to the collision.
The roadway was closed for approximately four hours during the investigation. Emergency response included the Woodburn Fire Department, Woodburn Ambulance, Marion County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team, and the Marion County Medical Examiner’s Office.
