Fort Myers, FL. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night in Fort Myers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:50 p.m. on U.S. 41 and Foley Road.
A motorcycle was traveling south on US 41 when it collided with an SUV that entered the intersection.
A 27-year-old male from Bonita Springs who was riding the motorcycle was killed in the accident.
The SUV driver, a 19-year-old female from Cape Coral, and a 22-year-old male passenger from Miami, were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
