Lee County, FL. – One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and two vehicles on Monday evening in Lee County.
The fatal crash happened around 5:17 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Evergreen Road.
A vehicle driven by a 28-year-old woman from North Fort Myers was traveling west on Evergreen Road when it crashed into a motorcycle operated by a 70-year-old man from North Fort Myers.
The car veered across the southbound lanes after the collision and hit a third vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man from Fort Myers.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
The driver of the third car was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
