Lee’s Summit, MO. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Friday evening in Lee’s Summit.
According to the Lee’s Summit Police Department, the deadly collision happened around 6:15 p.m. on US Highway 50 near Todd George Road.
The 29-year-old Blue Springs man was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into the rear of a truck.
The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital where he later died while receiving treatment.
The truck driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
